Hydraulic In-Line Filter—HIF S H-001 is a device that removes suspended particles and contaminants from hydraulic fluid via replaceable filter elements. This product offers two housing materials—carbon steel and aluminum alloy—to meet specific chemical compatibility and pressure requirements. Sizes range from 1/4“ to 2”, with each product typically offering one or two universal thread standards (NPT or BSPT). Installation Guide

When installing the hydraulic straight-through filter, first shut off the hydraulic line and fully relieve all pressure. Never touch any fittings while pressure remains. Verify that the HIF S H-001 model and thread specifications (1/4“-2”, NPT/BSPT) match your system. During installation, ensure the flow arrow direction aligns with the system flow direction. Apply suitable thread sealant or wrap one layer of PTFE tape on the male threads. Hand-tighten the connection, then use a wrench to tighten to the manufacturer's torque specification (do not overtighten). Re-prime with oil and bleed air to remove air pockets. Start operation at low pressure, check for leaks, and re-inspect connections after approximately 30 minutes of operation, retightening as necessary.
