During installation, first determine the orientation of the Y-type strainer to ensure that the flow direction through the filter aligns with the flow direction in the pipeline. Secondly, select an appropriate Y-type strainer based on the pipeline size and ensure that the connections are tightly sealed to prevent water or air leaks. During installation, the Y-type strainer can be connected to the pipeline using flanges, threads, or welding. After installation, perform a system test to verify that the strainer is functioning properly. Also, note that the Y-type strainer requires adequate clearance for cleaning and maintenance.
