The connection and voltage options include NPT or G threads, sizes “1/2” – “2”, and voltages DC12V / DC24V / AC110V / AC220V.

Before installation, isolate and depressurize the line and disconnect power to avoid electric shock. Confirm the solenoid valve size, material, thread standard (NPT or G), and flow direction marking. Fit the valve inline with the arrow matching system flow, and support adjacent piping to prevent body loads. For threaded connections, hand-start threads to avoid cross-threading and apply appropriate thread sealant. Ensure the coil and electrical connector remain accessible and upright if recommended by the manufacturer. When welding is necessary, follow approved procedures and cool before mounting the coil. After mechanical and electrical installation, slowly pressurize, energize the coil briefly, cycle the solenoid valve to seat internals, then check for leaks and verify correct electrical operation.

What is the working principle of a solenoid valve?

A solenoid valve primarily uses an electromagnetic coil to generate a magnetic force, driving the valve core to move and thereby achieve fluid on/off control or switching.

It is suitable for conveying water, air, oil, steam, acidic or alkaline liquids, etc. The applicable media should be selected based on the material of the solenoid valve.
